THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD
– THOSE WHO GO TO A FITNESS CLASS…
AND THOSE WHO ACCIDENTALLY JOIN SOMETHING FAR MORE DANGEROUS.
When a group of women in Dunstable turned up to Zumba, they came for all the usual reasons. Get fit. Lose weight. Make good life choices that, in most cases, last until Thursday.

What they didn’t expect was the laughter. Or the friendships. Or the cake. Especially the cake.
Somewhere between the warm-up and the cool-down, things got out of hand. They stayed longer. They laughed louder. They started bringing snacks, celebrating birthdays, and developing strong opinions about choreography they may or may not be following.
Led by Havva, a human power-station of enthusiasm, and Alex, who somehow manages to teach everywhere at once, the class became something no one saw coming. Part fitness class.
Part therapy session. Part social club with surprisingly energetic dancing.
It’s chaotic.
It’s heartfelt.
And it’s very, very funny.
BECAUSE IT TURNS OUT…
IT WAS NEVER REALLY ABOUT DANCING.
